1. Talkey Plans

The web pricing page currently offers monthly and yearly billing for Pro and Max. The iOS app uses Apple products that can include monthly, quarterly, and yearly choices. Availability, local price, tax, and any introductory offer are shown before purchase.

PlanCurrent product positioning
BasicFree access with one course lesson per day, up to 50 active flashcards, one active language, basic statistics, and ads.
ProUnlimited lessons and smart flashcards, all available language hubs, premium learning features, offline iOS study, no ads, and priority support.
MaxEverything in Pro plus Talkey’s highest subscription tier, including early access and future advanced premium features.

Talkey does not hold your full card details

Apple or Paddle processes the payment. Use the provider shown on your receipt when asking about a charge, renewal, cancellation, or refund.

3. Trials and Automatic Renewal

A trial is not guaranteed for every plan or customer. The current web pricing configuration does not mark its monthly or yearly Pro and Max checkouts as trial offers. On iOS, eligibility and the exact offer come from Apple.

If a checkout includes a trial, the confirmation screen shows its length, conversion date, and renewal price. Unless cancelled before the displayed deadline, it converts to a paid, automatically renewing subscription.

  • Read the final Apple or Paddle checkout summary rather than relying on an older screenshot.
  • For Apple trials, cancel at least 24 hours before the end to avoid the renewal charge.
  • For a Paddle trial, cancel before it converts using the receipt link or Buyer Portal.

4. Cancel a Subscription

Cancellation stops future renewal. It normally does not reverse a charge already made, and paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period.

  1. 1Apple: open iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Talkey → Cancel Subscription.
  2. 2Paddle: open Manage Subscription from your Paddle receipt or visit the Paddle Buyer Portal.
  3. 3Confirm the subscription shows as cancelled and keep the confirmation or email.

Deleting is not cancelling

Deleting the Talkey app or Talkey account does not automatically cancel an Apple- or Paddle-managed subscription. Cancel billing first.

5. Request a Refund

Mandatory consumer rights can vary by country and may provide a separate withdrawal or cancellation window. The full Refund Policy is the source of truth for regional rules, technical problems, duplicate charges, and refund timing.

ProviderRefund process
AppleApple decides App Store refund eligibility. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Request a refund, select Talkey, and submit the reason.
PaddleUnless required by law, web transactions are non-refundable. Paddle may consider a discretionary refund request submitted within 14 days of purchase; submission does not guarantee approval. Use the receipt link, Buyer Portal, or paddle.net. Contact billing@talkey.app for product issues first.

6. Restore an iOS Purchase

  1. 1Confirm the device uses the same Apple Account that originally purchased Talkey.
  2. 2Sign in to the Talkey account you want to use.
  3. 3Open a subscription or upgrade screen and choose Restore Purchases while online.
  4. 4Allow Apple’s check and Talkey’s account entitlement sync to finish.

Still not restored?

Check Apple’s subscription history first. If the subscription is active there but Talkey remains locked, contact support with the Talkey account email, Apple transaction date, and plan—never send a password or full payment-card number.

7. Get Billing Help

  • Include the account email, purchase date, plan, platform, and whether the receipt says Apple or Paddle.
  • For an unknown Apple charge, use Apple’s Report a Problem service.
  • For an unknown web charge, use Paddle Buyer Support or billing@talkey.app.
  • For a Talkey entitlement that does not match an active receipt, contact Talkey Support after trying Sync Now or Restore Purchases.
